3. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the storage drive.

Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
For access, do the following:
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 14.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Front bezel" on page 15.
3. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 17.
