    Your cooktop may be equipped with any combination of the following burners: Setting Surface Controls Simmer Burner; this burner is best used for simmering delicate sauces, etc. Standard Burner; can be used for most all surface cooking needs. Large Burner; the larger burner is best used when bringing large quantities of liquid to temperature and when preparing larger quantities of food.

    If using multiple pans, stagger as shown. If using one pan, place in center of Air Circulation in the oven. Oven For best air circulation and baking results, center pans as much as possible. Allow 2-4" (5-10 cm) around the utensil(s) for proper air circulation and be sure pans do not touch each other or the door, sides and back of oven.

    Broiling is a method of cooking tender cuts of meat by direct heat from the broil Broiling Informations element of the oven. Meats are placed on the broiling rack and the rack is placed (Right Oven) under the broiling element. See the broiling instructions for right oven in the Electronic Oven Control guide.

    The convection option, available on some models, is an alternative to the conventional Convection Cooking oven cooking methods of baking/roasting. and Baking Convection cooking is a method of cooking in which the heated air of the oven is (Right Oven, If Equipped) circulated by a fan at the rear of the oven cavity, providing better heat distribution.

    To Bake Setting Oven Controls 1. Arrange oven racks while the oven is still cool. See "Arranging Oven Racks" under (Left Oven, If Equipped) the “Before Setting Oven Controls” section in this manual. 2. Turn the Temperature Control Knob to the desired oven temperature. When the oven is first turned on, the oven indicator light below the Temperature Control Knob will glow.
