Moto Secure app and touch Security & privacy.
Or, go to Settings > Security & privacy.

Touch Device lock.

Next to Screen lock, touch

Touch Make pattern visible off

Or, go to Settings > Security & privacy.

Turn PIN pad scramble on
Hide passwords
To control whether characters briefly display when you enter a password to unlock your phone or log into
websites and apps:
1.
Open
the
Moto Secure app and touch Privacy controls.
Or, go to Settings > Security & privacy > Privacy > Privacy controls.
2.
Turn Show passwords off

Unlock with trusted devices

Set up trusted devices
You can keep your phone unlocked when it is connected to a trusted device, like your Bluetooth watch or
car.
1.
Make sure you have:
Set a screen lock
Turned on Bluetooth
Paired your phone with the device.
2.
Go to Settings.
3.
Touch Security & privacy > More security settings > Smart Lock.
If you don't see Smart Lock, try the following:
Update Google Play services. In the Google Search widget on your home screen, search for "Google
Play services", then touch the app to open it in Google Play.
Go to Settings > Security & privacy > More security settings > Trust agents and enable Smart
Lock.
