4.5 Jumpers

Explanation of Jumpers
To modify the operation of the motherboard, jumpers can be used to choose between optional
settings. Jumpers create shorts between two pins to change the function of the connector.
Pin 1 is identified with a thicker border line on the printed circuit board. See the diagram
below for an example of jumping pins 1 and 2.
Note: On a two-pin jumper, "Closed" means the jumper is on both pins and "Open" indicates
the jumper is either on only one pin or has been completely removed.
LAN Enable/Disable (JPL1)
Jumper JPL1 will enable or disable LAN1/LAN2. See below for jumper settings. The default
setting is enabled.
