Printing (POWER Switch)
OFF The calculator is turned off.
ON Calculations are displayed but not printed.
PRT Calculations are displayed and printed.
IC Both the printer and item counter are active. To clear the
item counter, press \ or 0.
Rounding (ROUND Switch)

Results are rounded down (if DECIMAL = 2, 2.349 rounds to 2.34).
5/4 Results are rounded up or down, depending on the value and
decimal setting (if DECIMAL = 2, 2.349 rounds to 2.35).

Setting Decimals (DECIMAL Switch)
For calculations that are not currency conversions:
+ Lets you enter values with two decimal places without
entering the decimal point (key in 5321 to get 53.21).
F The number of decimal places varies based on the
result.
0,2,3,4,6 Sets the number of decimal places to 0, 2, 3, 4 or 6.

Note: Be sure to set the switches to the correct settings before
beginning an example calculation.
Currency Rates and Icons
The currencies of the countries that participate in the Monetary
Union and their exchange rates are stored in a list in the
calculator. Up to four additional currency rates can also be stored
in CC1, CC2, CC3 and CC4.
As shown above, the calculator display contains icons for the
and the Monetary Union currencies. For example, BEF = Belgian
Franc, DEM = Deutsche Mark, and so forth.
The following table shows each currency, its number in the list, its
icon, and its exchange rate compared to the Euro.
