4 Change your TV
settings

Picture and sound

More picture settings
You can change the settings in the Picture
menu.
1. Press , select [Setup], and then press
OK.
2. Select [Picture], then press OK.
3. Select a setting to change, then press OK.
[Picture Mode]: Select a predefined
picture setting.
[Contrast]: Adjust the intensity of the
bright areas to enhance the details in
the dark, medium, and light areas of the
picture.
[Brightness]: Adjust screen brightness.
[Saturation]: Adjust the color
saturation of the picture.
[Hue]: Adjust the hue level to
compensate for color variations in
NTSC transmissions.
[Sharpness]: Adjust the sharpness of
the picture.
[Backlight]: Adjust the brightness of the
display backlight.
[Auto Backlight]: Enable the reduction
of backlight power consumption and
enhance picture contrast.
[Color Temp]: Select a preferred color
temperature.
[Noise Reduction]: Select a predefined
level of noise reduction for the picture.
More sound settings
You can change the settings in the Sound
menu.
1. Press , select [Setup], and then press
OK.
2. Select [Sound], then press OK.
3. Select a setting to change, then press OK.

[Sound Mode]: Access predefined
sound settings.
[Treble]: Adjust the treble level of the
speaker and headphones.
[Bass]: Adjust the bass level of the
speaker and headphones.
[Balance]: Adjust the volume of the left
and right speakers.
[Headphone Vol]: Adjust headphone
volume.
[Auto Vol Control]: Enable the
reduction of sudden volume changes,
for example, when switching channels.
[DSS]: Enable the digital surround
sound mode to enhance your audio
experience.
Audio format
Digital channels
If a digital TV channel broadcaster streams
dual mono signals, you can select an audio
format.
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [TV] > [Dig. Dual Mono].
4. Select an option, then press OK.
[Main]: Primary audio source.
[Sub]: Secondary audio source.
[Main + Sub]: Select both primary and
secondary audio source.
Analog channels
If an analog TV channel broadcaster streams
stereo audio in multiple formats, you can
select an audio format.
1. Press , select [Setup], and then press
OK.
2. Select [TV] > [MTS], then press OK.
3. Select an option, then press OK.
[Mono]: Mono sound.
[Stereo]: Stereo sound.
[SAP]: Automatically switch the TV to
secondary audio program when a signal
is received.
