Editing videos or photos

Protect

You can protect important recordings from accidental erasure.
The protected videos and photos cannot be deleted unless you format
the memory card or cancel the protection.

Select the video or photo playback mode.

Off Turns off protection on a protected image.

• If the write protection tab on the memory card is set to lock, you
cannot apply this function.

Playback/Editing

Smart BGM

You can enjoy music during video playback. If the original sound in the
video is loud, the volume of the background music will be decreased
naturally. On the other hand, if the original sound in the video is quiet,
the volume of the background music will be increased naturally.

Item Description
Off Turns off the background music.
On Turns on the background music.
• This function is available in the video single view only.
• You can also apply background music easily by shaking the
camcorder during playback. You do not need to set the Smart BGM
function manually.
• You can change the desired background music in the Settings
