Introduction
You can use the Walkman™ player to listen to music, audio books and podcasts. You can
use Sony Ericsson Media Manager to transfer content between your phone and a
computer. You can also extract audio tracks from CDs and transfer them to your phone.
Installing Sony Ericsson Media
Manager
You can install the Sony Ericsson Media Manager software from the Sony Ericsson PC
Suite CD that comes with your phone or you can download it from
www.sonyericsson.com/support.
Required operating systems
To use the software included on the CD, you need one of the these operating systems:

Microsoft® Windows Vista™ 32 bit or 64 bit versions of: Ultimate, Enterprise, Business,
Home Premium or Home Basic
•
Microsoft® Windows® XP (Pro or Home), Service Pack 2 or higher
Installing from the CD
To install Sony Ericsson Media Manager from the CD

Turn on your computer and insert the CD. The CD starts automatically and the
installation window opens.

Select a language and click OK.

Click Install Sony Ericsson Media Manager and follow the instructions.
Downloading from the Web and installing
To download the latest version of Sony Ericsson Media Manager

In your Internet browser, go to www.sonyericsson.com/support.

Select a region and country.

Select Software downloads.

Select a phone from the list.

Select Read more and download under Media Manager.

Select Download now and save the file to your computer.
To install Sony Ericsson Media Manager from the downloaded file

Double-click the downloaded Sony Ericsson Media Manager file.

Installation wizard: To continue the installation, click Next.

Read and accept the licence agreement, then click Next.

To install to the default folder, click Next.
5
To begin the installation, click Install.
6
To exit the wizard, click Finish.
Connecting using a USB cable
You can connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable compatible with your phone.
