Before you start using your phone, you
need to insert a SIM card and the
battery.
To insert the SIM card

Remove the battery cover.

Slide the SIM card into its holder with
the gold-colored contacts facing
down.

Press and hold down

Enter your SIM card PIN, if requested,
and select OK.

Select a language.

wizard for basic settings and useful
tips.
If you want to correct a mistake when you
enter your PIN, press

When you register as a subscriber with
AT&T, you get a SIM (Subscriber
Identity Module) card, which contains
information about your subscription.
