Installing and removing a power module
If you are not to install a power module in a power module slot, install a filler panel in the slot. The
filler panel prevents dust from entering the chassis and ensures good ventilation.
若电源模块插槽没有安装电源模块，请及时安装假面板，防止灰尘进入交换机，同时又保证设备的良
好通风散热。
The installation and removal procedures are the same for power supplies. The LSVM1AC650 power
supply is used as an example here. The installation and removal procedures are the same for filler
panels, and filler panel A is used as an example here.
电源模块的安装拆卸方式相同，仅以LSVM1AC650为例进行介绍；假面板的安装拆卸方式相同，仅以
假面板A为例进行介绍。

Connecting a Power cord

Before connecting a power cord, connect the grounding cable t o the switch and make sure the

switch is reliably grounded.
在连接电源线前，需先连接保护地线，保证交换机正确接地。
To avoid bodily injury, connect a power cord to the switch first and then to the power source.
连接电源线时，请先完成电源线与交换机侧的连接，再进行电源线与供电系统的连接，以免造成人
身伤害。

Use a removable cable tie to secure the power cord. The method for securing AC and DC power
cords are the same. The figure uses an AC power cord as an example（applicable to
LS-6850-56HF/LS-6850-56HF-H1/S6850-56HF-SAN ）.
使用可拆卸式扎带固定电源线，以防止电源线脱落。直流电源线和交流电源线的固定方式相同，此处
以交流电源线为例介绍电源线的固定过程（适用于LS-6850-56HF/LS-6850-56HF-H1/S6850-56HF-
SAN）。

To prevent the power cord from falling off, use a Velco strap to secure the power cord(applicable to
LS-6850-56HF-H3).
