Selecting a landscape keyboard mode
You can select a landscape keyboard mode from several choices.

Settings General Language & input On-screen
keyboard LG Keyboard Keyboard height and layout Keyboard
type in landscape.
You can also tap

Splitting the keyboard
You can split the keyboard in half and place each piece on either side of
the screen when the screen is in landscape mode.
To split the keyboard, turn the device horizontally and spread it apart by
swiping two fingers in a spread out gesture. To attach the keyboard, close
it by bringing together the two fingers in a closing gesture.
One-handed operation mode
You can move the keyboard to one side of the screen so that you can use
the keyboard with one hand.
