Operating Instructions
Problem
Water leaks out
of the washing ma-
chine.
Fabric softener was
not rinsed in, the
æ compartment is
filled with water.
Washing is heavily
creased.
The washing has
not been spun as
dry as usual.
Washing is not
thoroughly spun,
water remains visi-
ble in the drum.
The END light
flashes twice, an
acoustic signal is
emitted twice.

Possible cause
The screw connection of the
inlet hose is leaking.
The drainage hose is leaking.
The drain pump cover is not
correctly closed.
Washing is caught in the door.
The emergency emptying hose
is not correctly closed or is
leaking.
The insert in the conditioner
compartment is not correctly
attached or is blocked.
Probably too much washing
has been put in the drum.
The washing was not able to
be distributed evenly in the
drum prior to spinning.
The drain hose is kinked.
The maximum pump height
(outlet height 1 m from
the base of the appliance)
is exceeded.
The drain pump is blocked.
For siphon attachments:
the siphon is blocked.

Remedy
Tighten the inlet hose screw
connection.
Check the drainage hose and
replace if necessary.
Close the cover correctly.
Stop the programme, remove
the washing caught in the
door. Restart the programme.
Close the emergency empty-
ing hose (see Section "Carry
out emergency emptying").
Call your local Service Force
Centre if the emergency emp-
tying hose is leaking.
Clean the detergent dispenser
drawer and attach the condi-
tioner insert correctly.
Pay attention to the maximum
load quantity (see Programme
Tables). In the case of easy-
care fabrics, select the EASY
IRON programme.
Always load the drum as ful as
possible with a combination of
large and small items.
Remove the kink.
Contact your local Service
Force Centre. For pumping
heights over 1 m a conversion
kit is available as a special ac-
cessory.
Switch off the machine and
disconnect the mains plug.
Clean the drain pump.
Clean the siphon.
