OPERATION WARNING Moving parts can amputate fingers or cause severe injuries. Keep hands, clothing and loose objects away from all openings. Always stop engine, disconnect spark plug, and make sure all moving parts have come to a com- plete stop before removing obstructions, clearing debris, or servicing unit. WARNING Engine exhaust IS HOT, and contains Carbon Monoxide (CO), a poison gas. - Page 16 WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD CAUTION Make sure the bar and chain are free from any obstruction when starting the chain saw. Pushing the saw too hard will slow the engine and cut- ting will actually be more difficult. NOTE Some material may adversely affect the housings of your ECHO chain saw. The owner shall demonstrate reasonable care and use, and follow preventative maintenance, storage, fuel and oil usage as prescribed in the operator’s manual. Should a product difficulty occur, you must, at your expense, deliver or ship your ECHO unit to an authorized ECHO servicing dealer for warranty repairs (within the applicable warranty period), and arrange for pick-up or return of your unit after the repairs have been made. - Page 34 89 octane or higher. In addition, engine parts not expressly covered under this warranty but whose failure is a result of a failure of a covered part will be warranted.
