Features of your vehicle
Exhaust system (GPF)
warning light (Gasoline
Engine) (if equipped)
This warning light illuminates:
• When there is a malfunction with
Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) sys-
tem.
• When this warning light illumi-
nates, it may turn off after driving
the vehicle:
- The vehicle should be driven for
more than 30 minutes at a speed
of 80k m/h (50 mph) and faster.
- Ensure the following conditions
are all met: safe road conditions,
transmission 3rd gear or above,
and engine speed of 1,500 -
4,000 rpm.
If this warning light blinks in spite of
the procedure (at this time the LCD
warning message will be displayed),
have the GPF system checked by a
professional workshop. Kia recom-
mends to visit an authorized Kia
dealer/service partner.

If you continue to drive with the
GPF warning light blinking for a
long time, the GPF system can
be damaged and fuel consump-
tion can worsen.
Icy Road Warning Light
(if equipped)
This warning light is to warn the driv-
er he road may be icy.
When the temperature on the out-
side temperature gauge is approxi-
mately below 4°C (39°F) ~ 6°C
(43°F), the Icy Road Warning Light
and Outside Temperature Gauge 5
times blinks and then lluminates.
NOTICE
If the icy road warning light appear
whilst driving, you should drive
more attentively and safely refrain-
ing from over-speeding, rapid accel-
eration, sud den braking or sharp
turning, etc.
