Samsung Chinese IME
To change the Samsung Chinese IME keyboard settings, tap
• I nput Language: Select languages for text input.
• S pace key to input association: Set the device to enter the highlighted Chinese word
when you tap the space bar.
• I nput auto correction: Set the device to correct misspelled words automatically.
• E nglish Prediction: Set the device to predict English words based on your input and
show word suggestions.
• A uto Capitalisation: Set the device to automatically capitalise the first character after a
final punctuation mark, such as a full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark.
• A uto-punctuate: Set the device to insert a full stop when you double-tap the space bar.
• L ink to contacts: Create a link to a contact in the input selection panel. You can tap and
hold the link to add the contact information.
• V oice Input: Activate the voice input feature to enter text by voice on the Samsung
Chinese IME keyboard.
• F uzzy Pinyin Input: Select Fuzzy pinyin pairs so that you can easily enter Chinese
characters that are similar in phonetic spelling.
• H andwriting setting: Customise settings for handwriting mode, such as recognition
time, pen thickness, or pen colour.
• T -Chinese(Hong Kong): Select a default keyboard layout for Chinese.
• E nglish: Select a default keyboard layout for English.
• C haracter preview: Set the device to display a large image of each character tapped.
• S ound on keypress: Set the device to sound when a key is touched.
• R eset settings: Reset Samsung Chinese IME keyboard settings.
• V ersion: View version information.
