Safety Instructions

Read and understand this entire manual before using this product. Keep these instructions for future reference.

  1. Do not use this product near water.
  2. This product should be operated only by the type of power source indicated on the marking label or in this instruction manual.
  3. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one blade wider than the other. This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician.

Initial Setup

Essential Setup

  1. Place the unit on a flat and level surface. The selected location should be stable and free from vibration.
  2. Connect AC adaptor to the Power Jack of the unit. The red Standby Light will appear indicating unit has power.
  3. Untie the FM Antenna and allow it to hang in a straight line.
  4. Press the Power Button to turn on the unit.

Note:

  • Do not plug the AC power adaptor to power outlet before all the assembly is completed.
    Before turning the power on, make sure again all the connection settings are correct. Always turn off the power when connecting or disconnecting.

Line Input Connection

You can connect an audio device to this unit and play your music through its speakers. To do this, connect the 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) between your audio device, and the Line In Jack of this unit, press the Mode Button until Line In Mode is selected and start playing the music.

Bluetooth Operation

  1. Press the Mode button until the Bluetooth mode has been selected, you will hear an activation sound from the unit.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth feature of your audio device, search for "CROSLEY CR3504A" and pair.
  3. Once your device is successfully paired with the unit, you will hear a short confirmation sound from the unit.
  4. Play and stream music from your device to the unit.
  5. To forward skip, short press the Forward Skip Button.
  6. To backward skip, short press the Backward Skip Button.
  7. To pause the playback, short press the Play/Pause button.

warning Note: Bluetooth version – 5.0

Radio Operation

  1. Press the Mode button until the Tuner mode has been selected.
  2. To set auto scan station press and hold the Play/Pause button to activate automatic programming. All available stations are programmed in the order of waveband reception strength.
  3. Short press the Forward and Backward Skip Button to change the preset radio station.
  4. Long press the Forward and Backward Skip Button to manually tune the radio to the other frequencies.

warning Note: While manually tuning the radio, if you miss your radio frequency you can short press the Forward or Backward Skip button to fine tune the radio frequency by 0.1MHz. The fine-tuning feature will only last for two seconds after either A.) a long press while manually tuning or B.) a short press while in fine tuning.

CD Playback Operation

  1. Press the Mode button to select the CD function.
  2. Press the Open/Close button to open the CD tray and put the CD in the tray with the labeled side facing up.
  3. Press the Open/Close button again to close the tray. The LED display will show "Load" for a few seconds, then starts playing tracks.
  4. During playback, press the Play/Pause button to pause the CD. Press it again to resume playback.
  5. To skip to the next or previous track, press the Forward Skip or Backward Skip Button correspondingly.
  6. To search fast forward or backward, press and hold the Forward Skip or Backward Skip Button correspondingly until you reach the desired time.
  7. To repeat a specific track, press Repeat Button once while that track is playing. To repeat all the tracks, press the Repeat Button again, "ALL" will appear on screen. To cancel the repeat function, press the Repeat Button again.
  8. Press the Stop Button twice if you want to completely stop playback.
    • To quickly skip to 1-9 tracks, press the corresponding number keys (1-9).
    • To quickly skip to track 10, press the number key (10+).
    • To quickly skip to tracks 10+, press the number key (10+).
      For example: the 15th song, press number key (10+) and (5).
    • To quickly skip to tracks 20+, press the number key (10+) twice.
      For example: the 25th song, press number key (10+) twice and press number key (5).

For MP3 CD's
Press the number keys to select the tracks.
For example, the 38th song, press the number key (3) and number key (8).

USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB device into the USB Jack and playback will start automatically.
  2. To forward skip, short press the Forward Skip Button.
  3. To backward skip, short press the Backward Skip Button.
  4. To pause the playback, short press the Play/Pause button.

warning Note: Only use 32 GB or smaller USB.

Troubleshooting

There is no power

  • No power at the power outlet.
  • If using a surge protector/power strip ensure it is on.
  • Ensure power plug is properly inserted.
  • To help save power consumption, some models will comply with ERP energy saving standard. When there is no audio input for 20 minutes, their powers will automatically cut-off. To turn power back on and resume playing, turn off the power and turn it on again.

CD does not play

  • Function mode is not set to CD.
  • The CD is blank.
  • The CD is placed on the tray incorrectly with the label side facing down.
  • The CD has too many scratches or is dirty.

Bluetooth not connecting

  • Forget the device then try connecting again.
  • Ensure you are not too far away from the unit when connecting.
  • Try a different device (i.e. phone, MP3)
  • Ensure device (i.e. phone, MP3) is charged and not low on battery.
  • Try to disable Wifi and attempt to connect to Bluetooth.
  • Power cycle both devices and try steps to connect again.
