Step 1
Connect the supplied power adapter
to the router and a power outlet, then
verify that the power LED is on.
In Repeater mode

Modem
Step 2
Open a web browser and type
http://192.168.11.1 into the address
bar. Go to Wireless>Wireless
Repeater page and enable
Repeater mode. Click the Site
Survey button and select the Wi-
Fi network(SSID) you would like the
DIR-611 to connect to wirelessly.
Step 3
Enter the Wi-Fi Password(Pre-shared
Key) and click Next. Click the Finish
button to save the configuration.
Note: You may need to change the
IP address of DIR-611 to avoid IP
Address conflicts with root router.
(ex. If root router's IP address is
192.168.11.1, you can modify IP
address of DIR-611 to 192.168.11.2)
Step 4
From your laptop or mobile device
go to your wireless utility to display
the available wireless networks and
select the network that you previously
connected to in Step 3 for Internet
access.
