OPERATION
Screw, screw extractor bit and

drill/driver chuck may be hot. To
reduce the risk of injury, wear gloves when
changing bits and handling screws.
Screw Extracting
Bit sizes #1, #2, and #3 can be used in an impact
driver in low speed for all steps.
1. Secure the workpiece.
2. Ensure the drill/driver is in reverse and drill mode
at high speed.
3. Install screw extractor into drill/driver chuck with
side A facing out.
4. Using the drill/driver, pre-drill the screw extractor
into the screw head.
5. After pre-drilling the screw head, flip the screw
extractor to side B.
6. Ensure the drill/driver is in reverse and switch
to low speed.
7. Insert the screw extractor into pre-drilled screw
head. Push straight into the screw and start the
drill/driver slowly to extract the screw.
8. If the screw gets stuck on the extractor, discon-
nect the tool from the power source. Wearing
gloves, gently pull it off the extractor or gently
tap the screw, being careful not to break the
extractor tip.
Optional Next Steps
• Repeat steps 2-7, if needed.
• If unsuccessful, use a larger extractor bit.
• Use the drill/driver to apply sideways pressure
on the pre-drilled screw head to improve extrac-
tor grip.
