• If you install two M.2 solid-state drives, ensure that you select the correct M.2 solid-state drive when you
configure the system settings in ThinkPad Setup.

To replace the M.2 solid-state drive, do the following:
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect it from ac power and all cables.
2. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
3. Remove the removable battery. See "Replacing the removable battery" on page 105.
4. Remove the bottom cover. See "Replacing the bottom cover" on page 107.
5. Remove the screw that secures the M.2 solid-state-drive tray

6. Remove the screw that secures the M.2 solid-state drive
slightly as shown by arrow
Note: A film might cover the M.2 solid-state drive. To access the M.2 solid-state drive, open the film
first.
