Page 5: Getting Started
Using an Ethernet cable, connect the CICP1300NETBD2 network adapter to a DHCP enabled router (refer to figure 1). Power up the Super Two controller. The CICP1300NETBD2 will default to DHCP mode, and will request and obtain an IP address from an available DHCP server. If a DHCP server is not found, an APIPA address should be assigned to the CICP1300NETBD2. - Page 6 Select your device in the list (refer to Figure 3). Figure 3. Upon selecting the device, click Setup to launch the NLM Configuration Setup page (refer to Figure 4). Note: Do not click the Launch Web button. The Launch Web button is only for CICP2100/CICP2100S controllers with very old firmware.
- Page 7 On the NLM Configuration Setup page, view the Selected NLM information. The MAC Address should match the MAC address on the CICP1300NETBD2 you are trying to discover (refer to Figure 6). The IP address should match the Device IP address on the NLM Configuration page.
- Page 8 Logging into the CICP1300NETBD2 To communicate with the CICP1300NETBD2, you must log into the device (refer to Figure 7). By default, the default log In credentials will populate. The default log in credentials are User = admin and Password= admin. If you wish to change the default credentials, refer to step 10.

Upon clicking Open, the firmware file will be downloaded and can take a few minutes. Upon the completion of the Firmware download, a Firmware Updated Successfully message will display (refer to Figure 12). Figure 12.
- Page 10 View the Device IP Address information 19. By default, the CICP1300NETBD2 will default to DHCP. The Device IP Address will be provided by DHCP (refer to Figure 15). If it displays DHCP, you must change it to Static and program in a Static IP Address.
- Page 11 23. Select a Baud Rate. The default is 38.4K. 24. Change Server Port number. The default is 3001. 25. The Operation mode will be Legacy for CICP1300NETBD2 ethernet boards. 26. AES Encryption Type. The default is NONE. 27. Upon entering the Baud Rate, Server Port number and AES Encryption Type, click Write Config button.

- Page 13 Note: Refer to WI2545 and WI1265CLF for additional instructions on resetting the ethernet settings using the JP4 jumper. If the Universe Finder utility fails to find the CICP1300NETBD2, there might be an incorrect IP address programmed into the Ethernet Network adaptor, that is on a different subnet.
- Page 14 APPENDIX B Set Log In credentials back to default (JP5). Note: Refer to WI2545LF and WI1265CLF for additional instructions on defaulting the log in credentials for the Universe Finder utility, using the JP5 jumper. To default the Log In credentials back to the default credentials, you must move the JP5 jumper from pins 1 and 2, to pins 2 and 3.
