Change PIN code
(Menu 9.8.2)
Use this menu to change your PIN. The PIN
check feature must be enabled to change the
PIN.
Phone lock
(Menu 9.8.3)
Use this menu to lock the phone from
unauthorised use.
When this feature is enabled, you must enter a
4- to 8-digit phone password each time the
phone is switched on.
You can set the phone's password the first time
you access a menu requiring the password. You
can change the phone's password.
Change password
(Menu 9.8.4)
Use this menu to change your phone password.
Privacy
(Menu 9.8.5)
Use this menu to lock access to messages, files,
i-mode access, or all menu functions on the
phone, except for call functions.
When a privacy option is enabled, you must
enter the phone password to access the locked
items or functions.
SIM lock
(Menu 9.8.6)
This menu allows your phone to work only with
the current SIM by assigning a SIM lock code.
You must enter the SIM lock code to use a
different SIM card.
Fixed dialling mode
If supported by your SIM card, Fixed Dialling
Number (FDN) mode restricts your outgoing
calls to a limited set of phone numbers. When
this feature is enabled, you can make calls only
to phone numbers stored on the SIM card.
