To enter a word in Quick English mode:
1. Press keys on the phone just once per a letter
you want. For example, to enter "HELLO," press
the 4, 3, 5, 5 and 6 keys.
The word that you are typing appears on the
display. It may change with each key that you
press.
2. Type to the end of the word before editing or
deleting any keystrokes.
3. If the word is correct, insert a space by pressing
the
key and start entering the next word.
Otherwise, press the 0 key, the Up or Down key
repeatedly to display alternative word choices
for the keys that you pressed.
Example: Both "OF" and "ME" use the 6 and 3
Note: Depending on your country, the 0 key
may not be available for scrolling
alternative word choices.
To add a new word into the T9 dictionary:
1. After pressing the keys corresponding to the
word you want to add, press the 0 key or the
Down key to display the alternative words.
2. When you press the 0 key or the Down key at
the last alternative word, the display shows Add
on the bottom line. Press the Add soft key or
the
key.
