Offline mode
(Menu 9.2.6)
Use this menu to switch the phone to Offline
mode or back to Online mode.
USB setting
(Menu 9.2.7)
Use this menu to select a USB mode that will
be used when you connect your phone to a
PC via USB interface.
Media transfer: you can use Media
transfer mode to transfer WMDRM
(Window Media Digital Rights
Management) content with licence keys
directly from the Windows Media Player
11 to the phone. You can also get new
licence keys for the DRM files that have
expired licence keys.
Mass storage: you can access a
memory card from your PC.
PC studio: you can the Samsung PC
Studio programme to synchronise data
and transfer media files between the
phone and a PC.
Ask on connection: the phone will ask
you to select the USB mode you want
each time you connect the phone and PC
with a PC data cable.

Display settings

(Menu 9.3)
Use this menu to change settings for the
display and backlight.
Skin
(Menu 9.3.1)
You can select a skin colour pattern for Menu
mode.
Brightness
(Menu 9.3.2)
You can adjust the brightness of the displays
for varying lighting conditions.
Dialling display
(Menu 9.3.3)
Use this menu to select a font colour for the
numbers, and background colour of the
display while dialling.

Sound settings

(Menu 9.4)
Use this menu to customise various sound
settings.
Incoming call
(Menu 9.4.1)
Use this menu to change the sound settings
for incoming calls.
Ringtone: select a ringtone to be used
for the call ringer.
Volume: select a ringtone volume.
