Attaching Network Interface Board Type
2610
This option is for basic model printer.
• Do not touch the inside of the controller board compartment. Doing so may
cause a malfunction or a burn.
❒ Before touching the network interface board, touch something metal to dis-
charge any static electricity. Static electricity can damage the network inter-
face board.
❒ Do not subject the network interface board to physical shocks.
❒ Use the shielded twisted-pair (STP) network interface cable.

Check the package contains the following:
❖ Network Interface Board Type 2610
❖ Ferrite Core

Turn off the power of the printer, and then unplug the printer's power ca-
ble and the interface cable.

Remove the two screws holding the controller board in place.
