IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
• READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
• D o not operate Electric Wine Opener with a damaged cord or plug, after the
appliance malfunctions or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner.
• T o protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the Electric Wine Opener
in water or other liquid. This may cause personal injury and/or damage to
the product.
• T o protect against fire, do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
• Do not use the Electric Wine Opener for other than intended use.
• T he use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• This product is intended for normal domestic household use only.
• W hen using or recharging the Electric Wine Opener keep your workspace clean
and free from potential hazards.
• F or indoor use only. Do not expose the Electric Wine Opener or charging unit
to rain or other extreme conditions
• D o not let cord hang over edge of table or countertop, or touch hot surfaces
including the stove.
• N ever force the Electric Wine Opener onto a bottle or attempt to speed up the
mechanism. The Electric Wine Opener will work best when it is operated at it's
intended speed.
• D o not touch or adjust the Electric Wine Opener's mechanism or the corkscrew
spiral. Only hold the Electric Wine Opener by its stainless steel housing.
• Do not attempt to open bottles if the switch is not working correctly.

• D o not attempt to open the Electric Wine Opener or the recharging unit.
It has no serviceable parts. Your Electric Wine Opener is guaranteed for one
year. In the event of a malfunction in this time please contact our customer
services department.
• O nly recharge the Electric Wine Opener using the recharging unit and
power cord supplied.
• Never remove the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
Caution: Corkscrew is sharp. Handle carefully. Keep hands and utensils out
of the container while operating to prevent the possibility of severe personal
injury and/or damage to the product or property.
THIS UNIT FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). This plug fits a polarized outlet only one
way; if the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
