Bluetooth

operation
®
1.
Press the FUNCTION button to select the
Bluetooth
®
mode. The display will show "bLUE"
and start blinking.
2.
Turn on the Bluetooth function on the source
device, scan the unit "PS-990 SHARP" and
connect. "bLUE" on display lights up.
3.
Press the play button on your device or the
button to start to play.
4.
Rotate the VOLUME knob or adjust the volume
on your device to increase or decrease the
volume as desired.
Notes
● Press and hold PLAY MODE button to disconnect
the Bluetooth
®
.
● You can playback and pause playback by
pressing PLAY MODE button.
● You can select a desired track by pressing the
or
button.
● The Bluetooth® works best within 10 meters.
AUX IN (Auxiliary input) operation
1.
Press the FUNCTION button to select LINE IN
mode. The display shows "LINE" on the display.
2.
Connect your audio device to the LINE IN input
jack of the unit with an audio cable.
3.
Control playback with your device.
4.
Rotate the VOLUME knob or adjust the volume
on your device to increase or decrease the
volume as desired.

Microphone operation

Microphone input is available in all functions.
1.
Connect your microphone to the 6.3 mm MIC 1
or MIC 2 jack of the unit.
2.
Rotate the MIC VOL. knob to increase or
decrease the volume.

Troubleshooting chart

General

Symptom
No sound is
heard.
Noise is
heard during

Possible cause
The input signal
(selection) is not set
properly.
The volume level is set
to "00".
Muting is activated at
external device.
Move the speaker away
from any computers or
mobile phones.
The unit has not enough
battery power.
The protection circuit may
be activated. Switch off
and on the unit again.
Battery is completely
depleted. Recharge the
battery.
Possible cause
The unit is too far from
the Bluetooth audio
source device.
The unit is not paired
with the Bluetooth audio
source device
The unit is too near to
a device that generates
electromagnetic radiation.
There is an obstacle
between the unit and the
Bluetooth audio source
device.
Possible cause
There is no MP3 file
inside the device.
The device is not properly
connected.
It is an MTP device.
The device contains AAC
file only.
A false MP3 file is being
played back.
A Variable Bitrate files are
being played back.
