GETTING STARTED Battery Removal and Installation 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. - Page 5 IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

PRODUCT FEATURES 1. On/Off Switch To turn the unit On, turn the On/Off Switch clockwise. Turn the On/Off Switch counterclockwise to turn the unit Off. 2. Pup Buttons Press the Pup Buttons to learn about each pup and help them complete missions. -

5. Horn Button Press the Horn Button to honk the horn or answer the questions. 6. Handlebars Turn the Handlebars to pretend to drive the ATV, snowmobile or hovercraft or answer the questions. 7. Ryder Button Press the Ryder Button to learn about traffic safety and hear Ryder call the pups to action. - Page 8 ACTIVITIES ATV Mode Zoom to the rescue to save Mr. Porter’s van filled with Pup Treats by turning the Handlebars. Press the Pup Buttons to learn more about the pups and how they can help. Hovercraft Mode Help make sure the pups can hear Ryder loud and clear.
