Identifies you to the DSS service providers and is required for your
DSS system to work. Do not remove the access card except when a
new card has been issued to replace the original.
Refers to the different audio channels that may be broadcast in
conjunction with a video program. A foreign language translation is
an example.
Previews of special programs broadcast by your program provider.
Refers to the left-to-right positioning of your DSS dish. When you
enter your zip code (or latitude and longitude), the display screen
provides the number corresponding to an azimuth setting for your
location.

control program viewing of rated programs by ratings level. The
Spending Limit controls spending on a cost-per-program

Channel Limit allows you to select which channels can be viewed
when the system is locked.

The lock is controlled by a 4-digit key that acts as a password. The
closed or open lock icon in the channel marker indicates whether
your system is locked or unlocked.
