Chapter 2. Hardware Setup Grounding To prevent damage to your installation it is important that all devices are properly grounded. 1. Use a grounding wire to ground the VM0202H / VM0202HB by connecting one end of the wire to the grounding terminal, and the other end of the wire to a suitable grounded object.

VM0202H Installation To install the switch, refer to the installation diagram below as you perform the following steps: 1. (Optional) If you are using the serial control function, use an appropriate RS-232 serial cable to connect the computer or serial controller to the VM0202H’s female RS-232 serial port.
