Use and Care CAUTION This appliance must be used only for the task it has explicitly been designed for, that is for cooking foodstuffs. Any other form of usage is to be considered as inappropriate and therefore dangerous. Do NOT place combustible materials or products in this appliance at any time. Do NOT spray aerosols in the vicinity of this appliance while it is in use.
Multifunction oven Models: CD 400, CD 600, CD 800 GENERAL FEATURES As the name implies, this oven features a number of functions. 4 different thermostatic control functions are available to satisfy all cooking requirements. Function selector and thermostat controls Figure 4 Figure 5 Function °C Temperature TEMPERATURE SELECTOR KNOB (fig. 5) To turn on the heating elements of the oven, set the selector knob to the desired program and the thermostat knob to the desired temperature. To set the temperature, line the knob indicator up with the desired number (50 - 250 °C).
FAN ASSISTED COOKING The upper and lower heating elements come on and heat is dispersed through the oven by the fan. The temperature must be set to between 50° and 250°C via the thermostat knob. Recommended for: Large dishes and large quantities which require the same degree of cooking both inside and out, for example rolled roasts, turkey, roast legs, cakes etc.
COOKING HINTS Remember to keep children away from the appliance when you use the grill or oven, since these parts become very hot. COOKING EXAMPLES Preheat the oven to the required temperature (the temperature light above the thermostat knob will go out) and place the food inside. Remember to use ovenproof dishes and to alter the oven temperature during cooking if necessary.

Cleaning and Maintenance GENERAL After use allow the oven to cool and whilst the oven is still “warm” it should be wiped with a damp cloth using warm soapy water. With regular cleaning the oven will remain in good condition. It is advisable to disconnect the electrical supply to the oven before cleaning is undertaken.
REMOVAL OF THE INNER GLASS Figure 20 DOOR PANEL The inner glass door panel can easily be removed for cleaning by unscrewing the two screws (figure 20). During re-assembly, ensure that the inner glass is correctly aligned and do not over tighten the screws.

For the installer OVEN INSTALLATION All our ovens are designed for being easily built in - whether in masonry or a cabinet made of wood, laminated plastic or metal, provided it is heat resistant. The oven can be installed either into a tall housing unit or built under the working surface into a kitchen base unit.
FIXING THE OVEN Introduce the oven into the furniture housing and secure it with four screws, as shown in figure 26. It is essential that the oven sits on a shelf which will support its entire weight as these screws are merely complementary - they will not support the weight of the oven.
Electrical connection All electrical wiring must be in compliance with the appropriate I.E.E. and local Electricity Board regulations and carried out by a qualified electrician, e.g. your local Electricity Board or a contractor who is on the roll of the National Inspection Council For Electrical Contracting (N.I.C.E.I.C.).
