 Do not allow metal objects to come into contact with the cradle's charging terminals.
 Keep the cradle out of the reach of small children.
 Do not use a power source other than the supplied (or approved replacement) AC adaptor and
AC power cord.
 Do not connect the AC power cord to a voltage transformer or inverter. Connecting the AC
power cord to a voltage transformer for overseas travel or an inverter for use in an automobile
may cause heat to build up in the AC adaptor and may cause burns or a malfunction.
 Do not touch the cradle with wet hands.
 If the product does not function properly, disconnect it from the electrical outlet immediately,
and call Customer Service Hotline at the number listed in the official web site for your region
which is accessible from our regional site at http://asia.playstation.com.
Before using
 The cradle is compatible for use with the PSP
used with the PSP-1000/2000/3000 series.
 To clean this product, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or other chemicals.
Attaching and removing the PSP
The PSP
go system can be attached to or removed from the cradle regardless of whether the
®
power is off or on. To attach the PSP
go system to the cradle, carefully line up the connector on
®
the system with the connector on the cradle, and then press firmly (figure A).

Charging the PSP
go system battery

To charge the PSP
go system using the cradle, you must have either of the following:
®
 AC adaptor, AC power cord and USB cable (supplied with the PSP
 AC adaptor and AC power cord (supplied with the PSP-1000/2000/3000 series system)
When the PSP
go system is being charged, the POWER indicator on the PSP
®
orange. The POWER indicator turns off when the battery is fully charged.
Hints
 You can also use an AC adaptor, USB cable or AC power cord that is sold separately
and is compatible with the PSP
go system to charge the battery. For details, visit

 For information about estimated battery charging time, refer to the instruction manual for the
PSP
go system.

Charging with the AC adaptor (supplied with the PSP
Connect the USB cable that is supplied with the PSP
OUT) connector (figure C) on the cradle and to the AC adaptor.
Charging with the AC adaptor (supplied with the PSP-1000/2000/3000 series system)
Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN 5V connector (figure C) on the cradle.
Charging with a USB device (using the PSP
When the cradle is connected to a USB device such as a PC, the PSP
a USB mass storage device. When connected to a USB port on a PC, the PSP
charged while sending and receiving data to and from the PC.

Connect one end of the USB cable to the multi-use (USB/VIDEO OUT)
connector (figure C) on the cradle.

Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB device such as a PC.

With the PSP
go system turned on, attach the system to the cradle.

The PSP
go system automatically changes to USB mode. [USB Mode] is displayed on the
®
screen and charging begins.
Hints
 Do not disconnect the USB cable or AC adaptor while transferring data, as doing so may cause
data corruption.
 The PSP
go system must be set to USB mode when using a USB device to charge the battery.
®
To switch the PSP
go system to USB mode manually, select
®
Connection).
 You cannot charge the PSP
go system using a USB device while playing a game or performing
®
other operations. Use the AC adaptor to charge the battery in such situations.
Outputting video to a TV
You can use a video output cable (sold separately) to output video from the PSP
system to a TV. For details, refer to the online user's guide for the PSP
(http://manuals.playstation.net/document/).

Connect the video output cable to the multi-use (USB/VIDEO OUT) connector
(figure C) on the cradle.

With the PSP
go system turned on and attached to the cradle, press the

display button on the system for at least five seconds to switch the video
output.

Adjust the video input on the TV.
Select the video input that matches the connectors you are using on the TV.

go system to cancel video output to the TV and reactivate
