Thank you for purchasing the Diamond WL700RN 802.11n Wireless USB adapter. This quick

installation guide includes the driver and utility installation steps.

2. Installation

NOTE:

1. If you have installed any previous Wireless Cards before, please uninstall the existing

drivers and software's first.

2. The installation below is performed on Windows Vista. The installations will be the same

for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 7.

The following are the installation methods for wireless adapter.

1. Insert the USB wireless network card into an USB 2.0 port of your computer. Never use

force to insert the card, if you feel it's stuck, flip the card over and try again.

2. The system will find the new hardware and will try to install the drivers automatically.

Click "cancel" to skip.

3. Insert the bundled CD into the CD-ROM drive to launch the auto run program. Once

completed, a menu screen will appear. Click the "Enter" button to initiate the install

wizard.

4. Select relative language. Then click "Next" to continue.

5. If you see 'Found New Hardware' message again, please ignore it and wait.

6. If the screen appears during installation, please click "Continue Anyway" to continue.

7. Please click "Finish" to finish the installation.

8. Once the installation is finished the computer will be asked to reboot. At this point you

must reboot the computer to finish the installation of driver files.

9. After restart, click adapter utility from your taskbar or programs folder. Click "available

networks", Select the wireless access point you would like to connect and press "Add"

button and fill in the security information if any, and then click "OK" to connect the

wireless network.

10. Moreover, you may select "Refresh" button to scan all available Access Points. Choose a

wireless access point from the list and click" Add" button to connect
