4.5 Electrical Connection

All electrical work should be carried out by a suitably qualifi ed technician. Failure to comply with this could lead to
electrocution, fi re, and death. It will also invalidate product warranty. All wiring should be according to national wiring
regulations.
WARNING
When confi rming the operation of the ECB, make sure that the ECB can be turned ON/
OFF by the power lever before pressing the test button. If the ECB cannot be turned
ON/OFF by the power lever, stop using the ECB and replace it.
CAUTION
This product contains electrostatic-sensitive components that can be damaged if
handled incorrectly. To prevent any electrostatic damage, ensure you are electrically
grounded / earthed in order to discharge any possible static electricity build-up.

• The outdoor unit can only be powered via
Cylinder unit.
• Connections should be made to the terminals as
indicated in the fi gures to the left below.
• The wires ( ① ~ ⑦ ) MUST NOT be bundled
together with other wires having different number.
(Refer to <Figure 4.5.1>)
Ⓐ Locally supplied wiring should be inserted
through the inlets situated on the top of the
cylinder unit. (Refer to <Table 3.3>.)
Ⓑ Wiring should be fed down the left hand side of
the control and electrical box and clamped in
place using clips provided.
Ⓒ The wires should be inserted individually
through the cable inlets on the control board
(Figure 4.5.1).
