    REVERSING THE DOOR OPENING DIRECTION The direction in which the appliance door opens can be reversed. Note: Disconnect the appliance from the power mains before reversing the door opening direction. Tools required: Socket wrench No. 8, shaped screwdriver Flat screwdriver Spanner No.

  • Page 29 INTENSIVE FREEZING (FREEZER BOOST) FUNCTION • Use this setting after switching on the appliance for the fi rst time, before cleaning, or 24 hours before adding a large amount of food. Switching on: To activate intensive freezing, press the B key and hold it until the signal light above the D symbol lights up.
  • Page 30 HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM If the temperature inside the appliance is too high, acoustic alarm will be activated (intermittent tone) and the signal light above the set temperature (C) will start flashing. • Every time you switch on the appliance using the A key, a 24-hour delay in alarm operation is activated.
  • Page 31 OPEN DOOR ALARM Conventional appliances (manual defrosting of the freezer compartment): If the refrigerator compartment door is open for more than 2 minutes, an acoustic alarm (repetitive beep) will be activated.   • Page 33 SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON/OFF When you connect the appliance to the power mains for the first time, the appliance will be in standby mode (switched off, but powered). Switching on the appliance: To switch on the appliance, press the A key. A beep will be sounded and the temperature will be displayed on display B3.
  • Page 34 Temperature in the refrigerator compartment can be set when the B2 symbol is lit. Set the temperature by briefly pressing the B key. • Every time you press the key, the temperature will be increased by 1 °C. The setting you choose will be stored as the most recent temperature set for the refrigerator compartment.
