Volume Setup

With this preference you can choose how the volume
level is displayed.
Abs (Absolute): Display range is MIN, 1 through 79,
MAX.
Rel (Relative): Display range is – ∞ dB, –93 dB,
–92 dB through +18 dB.
The absolute value 62 is equal to the relative value 0 dB.

Press the [AMP] button followed

by the [SETUP] button.

Use the Up and Down [
buttons to select "5.Volume
Setup," and then press the
ENTER
[ENTER] button.
"Vol Display" is displayed.
ENTER

Use the Left and Right [
buttons to select "Rel" or "Abs."
ENTER

Press the [SETUP] button.
Setup closes.
Note:
• Depending on the individual speaker level settings, the
maximum volume value may change.

Speaker Configuration
This setting only need to be changed if you're
not using the HTP-820 speakers. If you are
using the all HTP-820 speakers, you don't need
to change anything.
This section explains how to specify which speakers are
connected and their sizes.
For speakers with a cone diameter
larger than 6-1/2 inches (16 cm),
specify Large . For those with a
smaller diameter, specify Small .
If you're using THX-certified speak-
ers instead of the HTP-820 speakers,
select Small-THX for all speakers.
