Shooting movies and still images

Select the shooting mode according to the subject or scene and
shoot movies or still images.

• Pressing the
button in any shooting mode brings you
back to the shooting screen if the camera enters [Power

Saving] mode (p.42) and the LCD screen is turned off.
Shooting still images and underwater still
images
Attach the supplied underwater lens protector (O-LP1632)
when shooting underwater still images. (p.11)

Set the [Rec. Mode] to
either [Still Image] or
[Underwater Still
Image]. (p.29)
The shooting screen
appears and either g or G
is displayed.

button to shoot still images.

Shooting still images with burst shooting

Continuous still images are shot while the shutter button is
pressed (ten images are shot consecutively).

[Burst Shooting].

button to start burst shooting.
Burst shooting stops after ten consecutive images are shot.
