- Page 2 PROCEDURE Remove original discharge chute assembly from mower deck. NOTICE: Steps 2 – 3 apply to models 994132, 994133, 994134, 994135, 994136, 994137 and 994138 only. For all other models, skip to step 4. Align chute baffle mounting bracket (item 28) over holes in deck.

- Page 4 See Figure 10. 11. Insert block-off baffle plate (item 6) into slot in chute Chute Control Plate support bracket. Install one 3/8" flat nylon washer (item 10) onto each baffle slide pin (item 12) and position slide pins between block-off baffle plate and chute control plate.

NOTICE: Flats on cable end mate with slotted hole in Unlock cable and extend and retract cable to bracket. ensure block-off baffle plate lifts and lowers. Insert cable end through slotted hole in cable NOTICE: If baffle plate does not operate smoothly, bracket.

3/8" Bolts Figure 16 OPERATION Unlock T-handle by rotating to center of clockwise / counterclockwise (CW / CCW) range of travel. Baffle plate will drop freely to lowest position. NOTICE: Cable may remain unlocked when baffle plate is in lowest position. Pull T-handle out to raise baffle plate.
