- Page 2 Step 2: Unscrew and remove the 4 Torx Screws with the T6 Screwdriver. Step 3: Lift off the bottom section as shown. Step 4: Remove the battery hold down cover (two screws) with a Torx T5 Screwdriver. Unplug the battery connector. - Page 3 Step 5: Remove the old battery and add the replacement battery. Plug in the battery connector and position the wires as shown in the picture above. Reverse all steps to reassemble the unit. Step 6 : Complete the reassembly and dispose of the old battery properly per the instructions. Make sure that the rubber feet are pushed firmly in place.
