General

The transmitter is controlled mainly by the HPC-1605 TX Control. Two control
modes, LOCAL and REMOTE, are provided. When the LOCAL mode is chosen, the
transmitter is controlled on the operation panel mounted on the front panel of the
transmitter, and does not accept external control. The LOCAL mode is chosen mainly
for maintenance work. In the REMOTE mode, the transmitter accepts control from
external control equipment, and also is automatically control led. In this case the
control from the operation panel becomes ineffective. For the normal operation, select
the REMOTE mode.

Control Method

Each of the controlled circuit sections of the transmitter sends out or receives
number of status signal via solid-state relays, and electromagnet switches.
The transmitter employs a mechanical interlock system so that its component units
are switched ON or OFF in only a given sequence.
incorporated as the decision circuit in the logic circuits of the TX Control Unit.

TX Control Unit

The condition of the transmitter is monitored with a TX Control Unit (HPC-1605).
The TX Control Unit receives status signals and alarm signals form each unit in the
transmitter, subjects the signals to decision and processing, thus conducting monitor
and control of the transmitter.
In addition, the condition of the transmitter detected by the TX Control Unit is
displayed in details on the LCD display on the operation panel.
