Entering letters and numbers
You can enter letters as well as numbers when storing
information into your phone. Simply press the corre-
sponding number key repeatedly until the desired
letter appears on the display (for example, use the 2
key to enter A, B, or C).
ABC mode
When your phone prompts you to enter letters, it will
automatically switch over to ABC mode.
Your phone displays the ABC icon to indicate that it is
in ABC mode.
When ABC is displayed, you can enter these characters:

While you're editing a name, the
cursor to the left, and
Press &OHDU to correct any mistakes.
If you wish to enter an empty space between
characters, press 0 for each space.
Changing letter case
Press the # key to switch between upper- and lower-
case letters. The $%& icon will switch to DEF to indicate
you are using lower case.
Entering numbers
To enter numbers while in ABC mode, you can:
• press and hold the corresponding key until the number
appears, or
