Recipe creation together with its applications Recipe Editor and Control
Recipe Generator forms part of the recipe system, which in turn belongs to
the basic system and is thus an essential component in the use of BATCH
flexible. The recipe editor permits the graphic creation of recipes in
accordance with 'SFC', the standardized representation mode. The structure
of these recipes is based on automation functions (AF).

In addition to the graphic creation of new recipes the recipe editor can also
open, copy, rename or make a report for an existing recipe.
Starting with a recipe with standardized quantities you can add the starting
time, the starting mode and a batch designation to form a control recipe
related to a specific batch. The control recipe generator has been designed
as an internal application (without a user interface) but is nevertheless
described here since it forms a functional part of recipe creation.
The most important requirement for the creation of recipes is the basic
automation of the PLC system. By this is meant the equipment structures
which were created with the aid of CFC/SFC and/or STEP7 tools. These
equipment structures include closed-loop controllers, valves, motors,
individual control elements and so on which can also be stored as combined
functions (for example, a stirrer controller) in a processing block.
