EMERGE CONFIGURATION -TREADMILL-
CAUTION:
The Emerge console MUST be properly configured to work
with the model on which it is installed. Follow the
configuration steps below before attempting to use the
equipment.
*For BIKE and ELLIPTICAL configuration, please see the
reverse side of this page.
READ THE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS IN THE OWNER'S
1. Identify the model number of the
treadmill on which the console is
installed (see model number
location to the right).
2. Determine if the treadmill is
equipped with the Decline Foot
option (see photos to the right).
3. Ensure that the unit is plugged in, the power switch is in the "ON" position and that the safety key is attached.
4. Press and Hold the UP Incline Button until the unit beeps (about 3 seconds). Then release the UP incline key and
Immediately press and hold the Enter Button until the unit beeps again (about 3 seconds) and release the Enter button.
5. When the Upper LED Display reads "Maintenance Mode", press the Enter button to enter maintenance mode.
6. Use the Up & Down Incline keys to scroll through the options until the upper LED Display reads "Configuration" and
then press the Enter Button to enter the configuration mode.
7. When the default model is shown on the Upper LED Display, Press Enter.
8. Use the + and - Speed buttons to select the model identified in steps 1 and 2.
9. Press the Start Button to save the configuration.
10. When saving is complete, POWER CYCLE THE UNIT.
11. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to re-enter maintenance mode.
12. Use the Up & Down Incline buttons to scroll through the options until "Calibration" is displayed on the Upper LED
Display.
13. Press the Enter Button to Enter Calibration Mode and then press the Start button to begin the Calibration.
14. After the Calibration is complete, remove and replace the safety key to return to standard user mode.
15. Consult the Owner's Manual for specific operation instructions.
