Electropneumatic Transducer
The Electropneumatic Transducer incorporates
quiet low wattage poppet valves and a pressure
sensor to measure and adjust the branch line
pressure proportional to its field selectable
input. A pressure gauge provides a readout for
the branch line pressure.
Required power for the Electropneumatic Transducer
is 24
. The transducer is designed for
VAC or 24 VDC
mounting on a flat surface. Dimensions are
3¼" x 3
/
" x 3" (83m x 79mm x 76mm). See figure 1.

Dimensions of the transducer
Position the transducer on a flat mounting
surface. Make sure the override buttons
and pressure gauge are accessible.
Mark the centers of the mounting holes.
˜
At each of the marked locations, drill
holes for the mounting screws.
Mount the transducer to the surface with
the mounting screws.
Wiring
Air Connections
When connecting the main air supply, connect
transducer lines to clean air.
Connect the main air supply to the barbed
¼" (.0063m) brass connector labeled Main.
Pressure should not exceed 35 psig.
Connect the output air to the barbed ¼"
(.0063m) brass connector labeled
Branch. There should be a minimum of 6
to 10 feet (1.8m to 3.05m) of tubing
between the transducer and actuator.
