Highlight Features

You can do much more with your phone than make and receive
calls! This section describes some of your phone's highlight
features.

Using a Removable Memory Card

You can use a memory card with your phone to store and retrieve
multimedia objects (such as photos and sounds). To install a
memory card, see page14.
To view and manage an installed memory card:

4 When you finish, remove the device by selecting the "Safely
Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray at the bottom of
your screen. Then select "USB Mass Storage Devices" and
"Stop".
5 Select "USB Mass Storage Device" then "OK".

Storing Protected Content on Your Phone's
Memory Card
Certain items that you download to your phone are encrypted with
Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology. This protected
content is encrypted with a key (coded data) that locks and unlocks
the content. To play back or view protected content that is stored on
the memory card, you must have the corresponding key stored on
the phone itself. The key determines how the content can be used.
For example, the key may allow you to play the content of your
download 5 times or use the content for a specified period of time,
such as 3 days before it expires.

Using the Memory Card as a USB Drive
You can access your phone's memory card with a PC.
Note: When your phone is connected to a computer, you can only
access the memory card through the computer.
On your phone:

Find the Feature
This directs the USB connection to your memory card.
Attach the Motorola Original USB cable to the accessory
port on your phone and to an available USB port on your
computer. Then follow these steps:
On your computer:

1 Open your "My Computer" window, where your phone's
memory card displays as a "Removable Disk" icon.
2 Click on the Removable Hard Drive icon to access the files
on your phone's memory card.
3 To store the desired files onto the memory card, drag and
drop them as follows: MP3 files: > mobile > audio
screen savers: > mobile > picture
wallpapers: > mobile > picture
video clips: > mobile > video
