Controlling Your Roaming Experience

Your phone is dual band/tri mode, which means you can
make and receive calls while on the enhanced Sprint
Nationwide PCS Network and you can also roam on other
analog and 1900 and 800 MHz digital networks where
we've implemented roaming agreements with other
carriers. To learn more about roaming, visit

Your phone has several features that let you control your
roaming experience.

Setting Your Phone's Roam Mode

Select Roaming and press

Select Set Mode and press

Select Sprint Only, Automatic or Roaming Only with the
Navigation key.
Sprint Only: The handset will allow you to make and
receive calls only on the enhanced Sprint
Nationwide PCS Network and prevents roaming.
Automatic: The handset will automatically acquire
service (Sprint first, digital roaming second, analog
roaming third) according to the PRL (Preferred
Roaming List).
Roaming Only: The setting will force the handset to
seek roaming service.
