The FM 2072 fabric module supports the HPE Composable Fabric through six QSFP+ ports in addition to supporting host
and router devices through 48 SFP+ ports.

Part Numbers
The FM 2072 part number depends on the direction of air flow through the fabric module chassis (determined by the
installed power supply and fan modules) and TAA compliance.
Guidelines and Restrictions
All TAA-compliant fabric modules require HPE Composable Fabric release 5.1.1 or later.

Description
HPE Composable Fabric FM 2072 6-port QSFP+ and 48-port SFP+ Front-to-Back
Module: Red tabs on power supply and fan modules indicate that the modules
draws cool air in from the chassis front panel and exhausts warm air out the back
panel.
HPE Composable Fabric FM 2072 6-port QSFP+ and 48-port SFP+ Back-to-Front
Module: Blue tabs on power supply and fan modules indicate that the modules
draws cool air in from the chassis back panel and exhausts warm air out the front
panel.
