8. DIAL AND BUTTONS
8.1 Aan/Uit
Pressing this button for a few seconds
allows to activate or deactivate the
appliance. Two different tunes sound
while switching the appliance on or off.
Rinsing phase indicator. It flashes during rinse phase.
Spinning and draining phase indicator. It flashes during spin and drain
phase.
The digital indicator can show:

Indication of total operating hours of the appliance. Refer to the 'Op‐
erating hours counter' section in the 'Settings' paragraph for more

The indicator
flashes during the laundry load estimation.
Maximum laundry indicator. It flashes when the laundry load exceeds
the maximum declared load of the selected programme.
Time saving indicator.
Delay start indicator.
Drum clean indicator. Refer to the 'Cleaning the drum' section in the
'Care and cleaning' paragraph for more details.
The Temperature area:
Temperature indicator
Cold water indicator
Extra silent indicator.
Rinse hold indicator.
The spin area:
Spin speed indicator
No Spin indicator. Spin phase is off.
Pre-wash indicator.
Stain indicator.
Child safety lock indicator.

As the Stand-by function automatically
deactivates the appliance to decrease
the energy consumption in a few cases,
you may need to activate the appliance
again.
