8.1.14 Automatic Volume

The Magellan RoadMate can be set to automatically increase the volume when the vehicle exceeds 45 MPH in order to
compensate for road noise.

8.1.15 TMC Options

TMC (Traffic Message Channel) Options provide tools to use in conjunction with the TrafficKit.
(See the TrafficKit User Manual for more detailed information.)
Under Incident Options the different types alerts displayed can be turned on or off.
TMC Selection provides a way to turn the TrafficKit on or off. How alerts are handled can be
set under TMC Selection. Turning on Use alternate route instructs the Magellan RoadMate to
modify the route to avoid the traffic incident at a selected distance or it can be set to just
provide an alert at a selected distance.
Subscriptions is used to enter codes received from a subscription provider.
Restore Defaults resets TMC Options to factory settings. This will not remove any subscriptions entered.
TMC Status provides detailed information about the provider being used and the traffic signal being received.

8.1.16 \Backup and Restore

The Magellan RoadMate 860T has the capability to back up your information (Address Book, Previous Destinations, etc.) to
an optional storage card.
