PAC 212 Access Controller Install Guide Introduction This document is intended for experienced engineers who are familiar with PAC products and health and safety considerations. Identification Markings Manufacturer, model identifier and input rating are given on the label attached to the unit.

PAC 212 Access Controller Install Guide Features Admin PIN Each PAC 212 is supplied with a unique administrative PIN. This is derived from the last four digits of the serial number printed on the unit. Administrator token Enables access to the Admin menu. The administrator token is numbered Editor 00.
Determines how long a door is unlocked when a valid token is presented or RTE is pressed. Readers The PAC 212 supports 4 readers. Reader 0 and Reader 1 are SIG A and SIG B on Door 1; Reader 2 and Reader 3 are SIG A and SIG B on Door 2 respectively.
Do not discard this product along with other household waste. It must be collected and treated separately. First Setup You will be prompted to setup the PAC 212 the first time it is switched on. To set up the PAC 212: 1. Press and hold ⓪ for 5 seconds.
7.1.2 To enter the Admin menu without a token: 1. Press and hold ② for 5 seconds. 2. Enter the Admin PIN for this PAC 212, then press ↵ . 7.1.3 To enter the Editor menu: 1. Present an editor token to the PAC 212.

PAC 212 Access Controller Install Guide Residential 7.3.1 Add / edit a flat 1. In the Admin menu or the Editor menu, choose Flats ①. 2. Type the number of the flat you want to add or edit (000–255), then press ↵ .

PAC 212 Access Controller Install Guide Commercial 7.4.1 Add a key quickly 1. In the Admin menu or the Editor menu, choose Keys ①. 2. Present the key. The next available key number is displayed. 3. Press ↵ to add the key with this number.

RTE held. Reader tamper – x identifies the reader. To silence an alarm, present an administrator key or editor key to the PAC 212. To clear an alarm, remove the condition that caused the alarm. (Hard anti-passback violations or duress alarms are cleared when you silence the alarm.)

PAC 212 Access Controller Install Guide One Touch™ Test Mode To speed up installation and testing, One-Touch™ testing is provided which allows the controller functionality to be tested at the controller or reader. Observation Test Action Controller Reader GREEN flashes at normal rate.
