    6.1 Components Part Function Power button: Long press to turn OS 531 on or off. It also works as a shortcut button for taking photos in leak detection. Voice recording button: Press to record voice memos in leak detection. Laser button: Press to turn laser on or off.
  • Page 10 Sensitivity Setting Shows the sensitivity level. You can adjust the setting by turning the sensitivity wheel. Indicates the intensity of the sound that the OS 531 detects: Red strongest, yellow the less, and green the least. You can see the actual sound level in DB in the Sound Level area.

    Before you start for the first time Before you use a new OS 531 to detect leaks for the first time, charge the device and perform the initial device setup. 7.1 Charging the device OS 531 is a battery-powered device and partially charged before delivery.

    Note: In the LMS mode, the flow and pressure units and cost-related settings are configured by an officer in the LMS. When you download a survey to the OS 531, these settings are downloaded to the OS 531 along with other survey data.

    To get accurate results, we recommend you record leaks at a fixed distance of not more than 1 m and with the trumpet mounted on the OS 531. You can detect leaks from a distance, but keep in mind that recording loss estimation is best performed at a close distance.

    12.1 Viewing and editing a leak record You can view a leak record in the OS 531, and edit the leak details if needed. If you are not satisfied with the leakage data, you can delete the leak record and record again.
